What are the benefits of the AT&T One Rate® Calling Card Plan?

The AT&T One Rate Calling Card Plan provides you with one low rate on all of your domestic CALL ATT® Calling Card calls when you dial the call yourself using 1 800 CALL ATT. There are no per-call service charges -- just an additional $1.95 monthly plan fee. Calls placed from a pay phone are subject to a Public Pay Phone Surcharge to recover fees charged to carriers to compensate pay phone owners for use of their equipment.

How can I get a CALL ATT® Calling Card?

CALL ATT Calling Cards can be ordered online. When ordering your CALL ATT Calling Card, sign up for the AT&T One Rate® Calling Card Plan, too. This plan is great for people who make two or more calling card calls a month. With the AT&T One Rate Calling Card Plan, you can get low flat rates on your domestic CALL ATT Calling Card calls for just an additional $1.95 monthly fee when you dial the call yourself using 1 800 CALL ATT.

How do I use the CALL ATT® Calling Card in the U.S. or Canada?

Simply dial 1 800 CALL ATT (1 800 225-5288), then:

  • Press [1] for calling card calls
  • Dial the area code and number you wish to reach
  • Enter your calling card number and PIN

How do I use the CALL ATT® Calling Card from a hotel room in the U.S. or Canada?

First get an outside line (usually by dialing "8" or "9"). When you hear a dial tone, simply dial 1-800-CALL ATT (1 800 225-5288) and follow the instructions.

How do I use the CALL ATT® Calling Card outside the U.S. or Canada?

To place calls from outside the U.S. and Canada, you need to obtain an AT&T Direct® Service access number prior to traveling. Just call 1-800-331-1140 or visit the AT&T World Traveler Web site to get access numbers for the countries in which you'll be traveling. Then when you're abroad, simply dial the AT&T Direct Service access number for the country you're calling from and follow the dialing instructions.

How do I place a CALL ATT® Calling Card call if I'm calling from a hotel room overseas?

Ask your hotel how to get an outside line. Once you have an outside line, simply dial the AT&T Direct® Service Access Number for the country you're calling from and follow the dialing instructions. If your hotel does not allow you to place calling card calls from your room, you may have to place your calls elsewhere (for example, from a pay phone) to avoid high hotel rates.

How do I use the AT&T One Rate® Calling Card Plan?

When you dial the call yourself using your CALL ATT® Calling Card and 1 800 CALL ATT, you will automatically receive the low rate of 30¢ per minute, anytime, anywhere in the United States.

Are there international rates associated with the AT&T One Rate Calling Card Plan?

Yes. Calls to Canada and Northern Mexico are just 30¢ a minute when the calls originate in the United States and you dial the calls yourself using 1 800 CALL ATT. Rates to other countries and Southern Mexico vary. When the calls originate in the United States, there are no per-call service charges. However, calls placed from a pay phone are subject to a Public Pay Phone Surcharge to recover fees charged to carriers to compensate pay phone owners for use of their equipment.
