CALL BLOCKING FEATURES

To change your call blocking features, please contact an AT&T Local Representative for assistance.

Type Description

Call Block - 900/976

  • Required for all customers
  • Restricts all calls placed to 900/976 numbers
  • Order must be placed to activate

Call Block - Caller ID

  • Complete Blocking
  • Per line
  • Allows you to block your telephone number and name from appearing on the Caller ID display screen of the number being called
    • Done on a per line basis
  • To de-activate on a per call basis
    • Press *82
    • Will re-activate automatically once call has ended
    • At dial tone, enter code and place call
      • Blocking continues until code is re-entered to deactivate service
  • Cannot be provisioned with:
    • Deny Call Block

Call Block - Caller ID

  • Per call
  • Selective Blocking
  • Allows you to block your telephone number and name from appearing on the Caller ID display screen of the number being called
    • Blocking occurs on a per call basis
  • Activation codes:
    • *67 for touch tone
    • 1167 for rotary
    • At dial tone, enter code and place call
    • Will automatically deactivate after each use
  • Cannot be provisioned with:
    • Line Blocking

Call Block - Collect

  • Blocks collect calls from being accepted and billed to your number

Call Block - Third Party

  • Blocks third party calls from being billed to your number

Call Block - Third Party and Collect

  • Restricts all Collect and Third Number calls

Call Block - Pay Per Use (PPU) Call Return and Repeat Dialing

  • Prevents the use of the following Pay Per Use (PPU) features:
    • Call Return
    • Repeat Dialing
  • Cannot be provisioned with:
    • Call Block - Call Return
    • Call Block - Repeat Dialing

Call Block - Pay Per Use (PPU) Call Return

  • Prevents the use of Call Return on a Pay Per Use (PPU) basis
  • Cannot be provisioned with:
    • Call Block - PPU Call Return and Repeat Dialing

Call Block - Pay Per Use (PPU) Repeat Dialing

  • Restricts access to Repeat Dialing on a Pay Per Use (PPU) basis
  • Cannot be provisioned with:
    • Call Block - PPU Call Return, Repeat Dialing, and Three way calling

Call Block - Toll or Full Restriction

  • Blocks access to the following:
    • 0+ calls
    • 0- calls, where operator dials the number
    • 1+ calls
    • 900/976 calls
    • Long Distance Directory Assistance calls
    • Dial around calls (e.g., 10-10-XXX)
  • Does not restrict Local:
    • Directory Assistance
    • Telephone Repair
    • 800 calls
    • 911 Emergency Services
    • 950 calls
